SmrkSmrk - 1125 meters - a very burly and flat top, the highest of the whole Rychlebske. Smrk lying between the top Brousek (1115 meters) and the Klínovým top (928 meters). Upland parts of this beautiful peak is actually a kind of extensive, high altitude plateau, which can be divided into several parts. The summit itself Smrku lies about 500 m southeast of the boundary line, taht is actually already out of the main ridge. This section is partly wooded and partly deforested with beautiful views, in good weather it is very good to see Sněžka (1602) and Studniční mountain (1554 m) in remote Krkonoše. On the northern edge of the summit plateau Smrku is a small peat bog with rare flora glacial called Malena. From here you have spectacular views north to the mighty peak of Kovadlina (989 meters) and a group Špičák (957 meters). On the very border at an altitude of 1109 m in the border triangle of historic sites in Moravia, Silesia and Kladska, is an important junction of tourist paths called Smrk - Hraničník (Trojmezí) and a beautiful wooden shelter called Mrazík. About 500m north of the border area is the last part that can be considered part of the top platform Smrku. The flat top is called Góra Smrek (1,107 m), which is separated from Smrku by not deep saddls. Here there is a wonderful view of the Gory Bialski and nearby Kovadlinu. The outlook, however, is each year more limited for growing trees. | |
