Městské muzeum Javorník

In the foothills of Rychlebské hillswe find the city museum Javornik (30 km from Jesenik).

Permanent exhibition of minerals, Karl Ditters of Dittersdorf and village history from prehistoric times to the present.

The exhibits include objects from ancient history to those that were used quite recently. In showcases visitors can see various objects together from guilds, companies and businessmen who worked in · Javornik, then there are old school toys or even antique weapons.
We did not forget our famous personality and composer Carl Ditters of Dittersdorf.
Visitors will find themselves in a room of the musician. There is unveiled part of his correspondence to his wife, children and himself.

There is also a built copy now so popular peasant parlors, in which visitors go back to the days of our grandmothers. Furthermore, in the museum is a small corner cobbler with all its equipment or in the next room there is exposition of unique original historical Javornická pharmacy whith the whole equipment.
In addition to it was added in 2010 Private collection of minerals from all over the world Ing. Jaromir Jedlicka.

Furthermore, in the museum you can see a unique collection of glass paintings.
